As you read this page there are conflicts in Joseph's Mother, Carry (Jun 1841) or Katherine (1832)

In 1910, I found 2 Joseph Bonetti's, both b. abt. 1867/68, Switzerland, one living with mother [Katherine/Catherine Bennetti/Bonetti] in Putah, Yolo Co., CA

and the other living with wife Annetta, Santa Clara, Sonoma Co., CA

And some of the following as the Immigration & Naturalization are only possibilities, as all I have to go on is Joseph Bonetti, no year born, Switzerland, plus you stating he was a Dairyman, m. Annetta Tamba, 21 July 1892, Petaluma, Sonoma Co., CA.,  that Joseph arrived about 1885, and that they had 4 children, Native of Switz.

In 1910, is the first I see of 3 of 4 children, as this census states Annetta had 4 children, 3 living.

Public Profile

My interests lie with the Covell, Gates, Ekdahl and Jurva families, the last two being the ancestors of my wife. I know I am a direct descendant of James Covell, born in 1635 in London, England.  He appeared on Martha's Vineyard in 1651 where he married an Indian lady who was a member of the Wampanog Tribe then resident on the Island at Gay Head.  How he got to the Colonies or where he had been before that is the mystery I've been trying to solve for the past 24 years. I do know his brother Ezra came in 1635 aboard the ship Abigail.

# Note: Joseph was a native of Switzerland and came to the United States in 1885. He settled in Santa Rosa on a dairy farm on Llano Rd. He operated this farm for about 50 years, he retired in 1936 and moved to Seattle, Washington to live with his sister who had just lost her husband. Upon his death his body was sent back to Santa Rosa to be buried in the family plot at Calvary. He was known as "Nonno Joe" to his grandchildren.
