Notes: Angus & Angeline as husband and wife, could not have had Julia, age 12

in 1860, Mary(1853) would be 7, and Julia (1843) would be 17, Julia is not listed in the 1850. 

 

Sister Justin Pigeon, a married name, sister to head of house Angus so she is Justine Benway, Justine Pigeon/Pigion nee Benway, in 1850 would be 24, Justine I can understand being married by then.

 

Sister Mary Benway, sister to Angus, b. 1834

 

Sister Ordelia Bennet, a married name, sister to Angus, b. 1834

and Angus Benway, age 2, b. abt. 1853, twin to Mary (1853), age 2, are the children of Angus & Angeline.

Angus of the 1850, age 18, b. abt. 1832, is he the same Angus, age 21, b. abt. 1834, 5 yrs later in 1855, should be 23, and the Angus of 1850 is born NY not Canada as this 1855 shows.

None of the Sister's are shown in the 1850 census, from the 1850 census, Joseph would be 21, George & Frances 18, and John 13, in 1855.  Neither are listed with Angus and Angeline.

 

And some do/did marry at age 14, so either Mary of 1855 census could have, not knowing how accurate their birth years per the census are married by 1880.

1860

 

It maybe that on the 1855 Census Jennet is referred to as Mary.  On 1860 Census she is JENNET.  Married by 1867 so not on 1870 with what appears to be her mum Angeline BENWAY nee ?? living with Arnold/Jonathon LOOMIS.

 

From Doc: Unknown their middle names or if some of the given names are their middle names have been used instead.
